GENERAL
Using raw materials sourced both locally and globally we machine and fabricate a wide range of products for electrical, thermal and mechanical applications.

PRODUCTS AVAILABLE
Tubes & bushes
Tubes are available in paper and fabric Bakelite, Epoxy Glass G11) -. All manufactured in Melbourne. The paper tubes can be supplied in both 1270 and 915mm lengths. F3, Epoxy Glass (G11, Melamine (G9) and Silicone Mica (G7) is only available in 915mm lengths. The bore sizes available range, in increments, from 4.5mm to 230mm, depending on the availability of mandrels, with the maximum OD of 250mm. The tubes can also be cut to short lengths for use as spacers etc. The tubes, when used in conjunction with insulating “washers” can be made into bobbins for coils.
Panels & Strips
Panels can be cut, from a wide range of materials and machined into various sizes with cutouts, holes, and slots for many applications. e.g. mounting switchboard and meter panels, transformer terminals, arc shutes, etc.
Initial cutting is carried out by a programmable beam saw, with subsequent machining in our CNC machining centre, routers, lathes, spindle moulder, thicknesser, drills and band saws
Cleats & Cable Clamps
Busbar “Cleats” and Cable Clamps are used to support rectangular busbars or insulated cable. These are supplied, fully machined with mounting and clamping bolt holes, slots for busbars or semi-circular cutouts for cable clamping in a number of materials, the most common being Densified Wood, however Paper Bakelite, Epoxy Glass G10 or G11 or GPO3 are used.
Washers
Washers can be manufactured in round, square and rectangular shapes for use in a wide range of applications inc. parts of bobbins for coils separators to isolate a “live” piece of equipment from earth or other equipment
They can be supplied in a range of materials including Bakelite – Paper and Fabric and Epoxy Glass – G10 or G11, GPO3, ESP, Silicone Mica and more
Terminal Blocks
These items are generally fabricated from an insulation board, e.g. Paper Bakelite, Epoxy Glass (G10) or GPO3, which is machined to specific dimensions. We can also supply the terminal block complete with the terminal bolts mounted.
